CNPC Jichai Unveils Three New High-performance at GPOWER Shanghai Exhibition

On June 3, the 25th GPOWER Shanghai International Power Equipment & Generator Set Exhibition opened at Shanghai New International Expo Center. CNPC Jichai Power Co., Ltd. premiered three self-developed high-performance engines, namely the L20V175 diesel/gas engine, 16V135 diesel engine and 12V260 gas engine, and hosted a new product launch themed Empowering Smart Power, Pioneering Green Future. Zhang Zeya, Executive Director and Party Secretary of Jichai Power, Deputy General Managers Guo Jinju and Qin Feihu, Chen Qingping from China Internal Combustion Engine Industry Association, as well as domestic and overseas clients and partners attended the event.

During the launch, Guo Jinju stated that Jichai consistently fosters new productive forces and builds an integrated service system featuring Power + Service and Product + Ecosystem. The company develops full-chain energy solutions tailored for data centers and oil & gas power generation, speeds up the industrialization of scientific and technological achievements via new products, and facilitates the green and intelligent upgrading of power equipment. On-site, Jichai signed strategic cooperation agreements with Guangdong Haineng and Shenzhen Walbenda. Industry experts and customer representatives highly recognized the company’s technological strengths and reached intentions for in-depth market cooperation.

Developed to meet rigid demands of regular/emergency power supply for data centers and associated gas utilization at oilfields, the three new products deliver low carbon consumption, quick startup and stable reliable operation:

The L20V175 diesel/gas engine adopts cutting-edge international structural design and state-of-the-art fuel and gas control systems. Its diesel version outputs 3,300 kW and the gas variant reaches 2,750 kW. Featuring fast response, strong anti-shock performance, low energy consumption, stable power output, ample power reserve and high dependability, it satisfies high-power power supply needs of data centers under complicated operating conditions.

The 16V135 diesel engine is a newly-developed megawatt-class high-speed unit incorporating proven global design concepts. With compact size, high intelligence and low maintenance costs, it targets scenarios with strict requirements on footprint and full-life-cycle cost such as data centers and offshore drilling platforms.

The 12V260 gas engine is a 4-megawatt high-power gas unit drawing on Jichai’s over 40 years of R&D experience in gas engines and world-class craftsmanship. With fully independent intellectual property rights, it achieves internationally leading standards in power performance, fuel economy and emission control, widely applicable for oilfield associated gas power generation, compressor driving, distributed gas-fired power plants and offshore platform power supply.

Alongside the new product launch, Jichai exhibited its flagship products including the 20V200 gas engine, integrated outdoor sodium-ion cabinet and mobile energy storage vehicle, attracting extensive industry attention and consolidating its market layout across data center, oil & gas equipment and new energy storage sectors.
